Virtually all research conducted at Living Links is performed in front of a viewing public. The 600,000 plus annual visitors to Edinburgh Zoo are all able to visit the centre and view live experiments with monkeys. Edinburgh Zoo is open virtually every day of the year (including Christmas day).
Living links is designed to allow researchers to work up-close with monkeys in the research rooms. Every experiment is accompanied by a projected explanation to explain what is happening to visitors.
